TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 FORD F-550 SD. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH IN REVERSE, THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE VEHICLE HAD TO BE PUSHED INTO THE CONTACT'S DRIVEWAY. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOUR TIMES, BUT THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED. THE FAILURE ALSO OCCURRED WHILE IN DRIVE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 25,000.

THE VEHICLE IS A MOTOR HOME MANUFACTURED BY THOR MOTOR COACH THAT THEY ADDED TO A MODIFIED 2015 FORD F550 CHASSIS. ALTHOUGH THOR MODIFIED THE CHASSIS, REPLACED THE FRONT BUMPER AND QUARTER PANELS AND ADDED THE COACH BODY TO THE FRAME, THEY FAILED TO DO ANY ALIGNMENT PROCESS TO MAKE SURE THAT THE BODY AND THE FRONT WHEELS WERE PROPERLY ALIGNED. THIS FAILURE HAS LED TO SEVERE WEAR TO THE FRONT RIGHT TIRE CREATING A MAJOR SAFETY HAZARD. My f-550 super duty diesel dump truck lost power on the highway because of a known fuel injector pump defect. The pump exploded into metal pieces that clogged all fuel lines leading to a loss of power on a highway putting everybody at risk of a collision. This fuel injector problem is known to ford and is subject to class action lawsuits. The dealer confirms that this is the problem.
