VEHICLE ENGINE SHUTS DOWN WHLIE DRIVEING AT ANY GIVEN TIME, GEAR AND SPEEDS. ALL ELECTRICAL PARTS REMAINS WORKING. STOP AND RESTART THE CAR AND IT'S WORKING AGAIN FOR A FEW MINUTES AND THE ENGINE SHUTS DOWN AGAIN.WHILE IN MOTION. HOWEVER IT SEAMS TO HAPPEN WHEN YOU ACCELERATE, AND IF YOU KEEP A CONSTANT RPM THE CAR LASTS LONGER BEFORE THE ENGINE SHUTS DOWN. NO ENGINE CHECK LIGHT CAME ON AT FIRST ONLY AFTER FEW SHUTDOWN. The contact owns a 2015 Ford Expedition. The contact stated while driving at approximately 30 MPH, the blower motor failed, causing the defroster to become inoperable. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that the blower motor failed due to the wiring harness and resister overheating. THE THROTTLE BODY HAD A COMPLETE FAILURE AT AN INTERSECTION, RESULTING IN THE INABILITY TO MOVE FORWARD. THE VEHICLE WENT INTO SHUTDOWN MODE AND EVENTUALLY LOCKED THE TRANSMISSION INTO PARK. A FAILURE LIKE THIS AT SPEED, OR OTHERWISE, PRESENTS THE POSSIBILITY FOR VEHICLE CRASHES AND INJURIES.

WHILE DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS (70 MPH), WENT TO PASS TRAFFIC, TRUCK DOWNSHIFTED, SERVICE TRANSMISSION LIGHT CAME ON AND TRUCK LOST ALL POWER. TRANSMISSION WAS STUCK IN 4TH GEAR AND ENGINE WOULD NOT REV ABOVE IDLE. PULLED OVER AND SHUT OFF TRUCK. RESTARTED AND EVERYTHING WAS NORMAL. A FEW DAYS LATER SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN, THIS TIME WAS ON A CITY STREET (20MPH) AND TRANS WAS STUCK IN 3RD GEAR.

STARTED TO NOTICE VIOLENT SHAKING IN THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE WHEN THE BRAKES ARE APPLIED AT INTERSTATE SPEEDS. THE 2015 EXPEDITION 4WD HAS 19,000 MILES ON THE ODOMETER. AT VERY LOW SPEEDS THERE IS THE SAME SHAKING OF THE FRONT BRAKES---BUT MUCH LESS NOTICEABLE APPARENTLY DUE TO THE LOW SPEED. TRYING TO SCHEDULE WARRANTY INSPECTION AT LOCAL FORD DEALER.

WHILE DRIVING MY 2015 FORD EXPEDITION HOME FROM WORK, MY VEHICLE SUDDENLY LOST ALL GAS POWER TO THE VEHICLE. MY STEERING STILL WORKED AND POWER WAS STILL ON BUT I HAD NO GAS. The contact stated that the defogger/defroster was inoperable. Smelled smoke, then a small amount of dark smoke was noted to be coming from A/C vents I pulled over & turned off car The smoke stopped. I exited the car & called my husband. I opened the car hood to inspect. There was nothing suspicious. No source of the smell or smoke was identified.
