TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1995 FORD E-350. THE VEHICLE CAUGHT FIRE WHILE IT WAS PARKED. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN DRIVEN IN APPROXIMATELY TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE FIRE OCCURRED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT EXTINGUISHED THE FIRE AND STATED THAT IT ORIGINATED UNDER THE HOOD. THE VEHICLE IS CURRENTLY PARKED IN THE CONTACT'S DRIVEWAY. THROUGH RESEARCH, HE DISCOVERED A RECALL FOR THAT YEAR, MAKE, AND MODEL VEHICLE FOR THE SAME VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL FAILURE. HE ALSO FOUND A RECALL ON THE PARKING BRAKE CABLE WIRING TO THE FUEL LINE. …

THIS VEHICLE DEVELOPED CRACKS ON BOTH BRAKE ROTORS THRU TO THE FINS. I HAVE BOTH IN MY POSSESSION. I HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH FORD MOTOR CO. AND THEY DENY ANY RESPONSIBILITY AS MY WARRANTY HAD EXPIRED IN MAY OF 2000. I HAD A WOBBLE IN THE STEERING WHEEL FOR SOMETIME PRIOR TO MAY OF 2000 BUT DID NOT REALIZE WHAT IT WAS. IT BECAME INCEASINGLY WORSE, WHEN I SPOKE WITH THE LOCAL FORD DEALER THEY REFERRED ME TO AUTOMOTIVE & RV SPECIALISTS AS THE DEALER COULD NOT WORK ON A LARGE VEHICLE.
