WHILE DRIVING MY FLEETWOOD MOTORHOME, I NOTICED AN ELECTRICAL ODOR. I LOOKED TOWARD THE BACK OF THE COACH AND THE REAR BEDROOM WAS FULL OF SMOKE. WHEN I FINALLY GOT THE COACH TO A SERVICE CENTER, IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE EXHAUST SYSTEM HAD A HOLE IN IT NEAR THE ENGINE. THE COACH ONLY HAD 32000 MILES. THE HEAT FROM THE ENGINE THROUGH THE EXHAUST HEATED THE ELECTRICAL CONTROL BOX THAT IS IMMEDIATELY ADJACENT TO THE ENGINE, THE COATING ON THE WIRING MELTED AND THAT RESULTED IN AN ELECTRICAL FIRE.
