FROM E-MAIL TO FEATHERLITE: I RECENTLY PURCHASED A 2018 FEATHERLITE 1620-14 FROM BICKFORD FORD IN SNOHOMISH WASHINGTON. AFTER DRIVING 20 MILES HOME I PARKED THE TRAILER. A FEW DAYS LATER I STARTED LOOKING AT THE INTERNAL WIRING FOR THE DOME LIGHTS. THE FIRST THING I NOTICED WAS THE WIRING WAS LAYING ACROSS SHARP EDGES OF FRESHLY CUT ALUMINUM. THERE WAS NO PROTECTIVE SPLIT LOOM COVERING THE WIRING. THERE WAS ALSO NO ATTEMPT TO FEATHER DOWN THE RAZOR SHARP EDGES OF THE CUT ALUMINUM. THE QUESTION IS HOW LONG BEFORE THIS SHORTS OUT?
