24V173000 · Electrical System:Software | Air Bags:Srs Malfunction Warning Lamp/Light

Reported: 2024-03-01 (March 1, 2024) · Model years: 2023

Faraday Future Eco Sales. LLC (FF) is recalling certain 2023 Faraday Future FF 91 2.0 Alliance vehicles. A software error may prevent the air bag malfunction warning light from illuminating when a system fault is detected in the Airbag Control Unit (ACU).

Consequence: A warning light that fails to indicate a problem with air bag deployment can increase the risk of injury during a crash.

Remedy: FF will deploy an over-the-air (OTA) iHUB module software update, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 27, 2024. Owners may contact Faraday customer service at 1-800-228-7702. FF's number for this recall is 24-90-32-01.
