THE PLASTIC FUEL TANK ON MY 2009 DUCATI MONSTER 1100 WARPED/DEFORMED. AS A RESULT, FUEL BEGAN TO LEAK FROM THE REAR UNDERSIDE NEAR THE FUEL PUMP, AND ONTO THE HOT EXHAUST HEADER FOR THE REAR CYLINDER. THE FUEL TANK WAS REPLACED BY THE DEALER IN COORDINATION WITH DUCATI NA. *TR

I RODE MY BIKE 3 DAYS PRIOR WITH NO ISSUES AND I PARKED IT AS USUAL. THREE DAYS LATER BIG PUDDLE OF GASOLINE DRIPPING FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE TANK AROUND AREA OF FUEL PUMP. GAS DRIPPING ONTO EXHAUST AND WIRES. I TOOK THE TANK OFF AND DRAINED FUEL TO LIMIT THE SPILL, I WILL CONTACT DUCATI DEALER ABOUT NEXT STEP. *TR
