DT*: THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 25MPH ON LEVEL ROADS THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE THE VEHICLE STOPPED. THE PARKING BRAKE LIGHT ILLUMINATED AFTER THE FAILURE. THE BRAKES RESUMED NORMAL OPERATION ONCE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED FOR AN HOUR. THE BRAKES FAILED PREVIOUSLY IN OCTOBER 2005. THE MANUFACTURER AND DEALER WERE NOT ALERTED FOLLOWING EITHER INCIDENT. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 DAMON DAYBREAK. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH IN DRY WEATHER, THE BRAKES FAILED. THE FAILURE OCCURRED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, BUT THEY COULD NOT DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE LESS 17,000. UPDATED 03-04-08 *BF
