TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 CHRYSLER ASPEN HYBRID. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER ACCELERATING FROM A STOP AT 10 MPH, THE ENGINE STALLED AS THE CHECK ENGINE, THE THROTTLE CONTROL, AND THE TRACTION SENSOR WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED INDEPENDENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. I PURCHASED A 2009 CHRYSLER ASPEN HYBRID WITH ABOUT 20,000 MILES ON IT. SINCE PURCHASING THE VEHICLE I HAVE HAD SEVERAL PROBLEMS WITH THE VEHICLE. THE TIE ROD ENDS HAVE FAILED THREE TIMES ON THE VEHICLE AND THE VEHICLE WILL RANDOMLY STALL OUT OR QUICKLY ACCELERATE. THIS HAS HAPPENED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS AND PUT ME, MY FAMILY, AND OTHERS NOT HE ROAD AT RISK OF SERIOUS INJURY. IT HAS HAPPENED IN PARKING LOTS AND WHILE PULLING OUT INTO TRAFFIC OUT OF PARKING LOTS. I HAVE A 2009 CHRYSLER ASPEN THAT HAS BEEN AT THE DEALERSHIP SINCE THE END OF FEBRUARY WHEN THE TRUCK DROPPED DEAD FOR THE LAST TIME. AROUND SIX MONTHS INTO MY OWNERSHIP THE VEHICLE STARTED DROPPING DEAD AT AROUND 65 MPH. THE TRUCK HAS BEEN IN SHOP SEVERAL TIMES FOR THE BUMP AND STOP AND DROP DEAD ISSUE. THERE WAS A RECALL OCTOBER OF 2014 THAT I WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF. PERSISTENT DEAD 12V BATTERY. EVEN AFTER REPLACING THE BATTERY, TRUCK WILL BE DEAD WITHIN 24 HOURS OF NOT BEING DRIVEN. ALL LIGHTS ARE OFF AND KEYS REMOVED. BATTERY WILL BE DEAD IN A LESS THAN A DAY AFTER RUNNING JUST FINE REQUIRES A 2 SECOND JUMP FROM ANOTHER VEHICLE TO START. .
