Brakes-- I was not having any brake issues at all before this happened: I started braking while pulling into a hotel parking lot but the brake petal went right down to the floor and I had no brakes! I put the car in neutral and pushed down on the emergency brake. I went up a curb but at least didn't hit the building. I had the car towed, explained what happened, and the auto repair shop couldn't find anything wrong with the braking system?? And then, of course, it happened again. INTERMITTENTLY WHILE DRIVING ON CALIFORNIA FREEWAY BETWEEN 55 TO 65 MPH VEHICLE STALLED . THIS CAUSED LOSS OF STEERING AND BRAKES. DEALERSHIP INSPECTED VEHICLE SEVERAL TIMES, BUT COULD NOT DUPLICATE OR CORRECT THE PROBLEM. *AK

THE VEHICLE WOULD PULL TO THE RIGHT WHEN DRIVING (5-65 MPH). THE VEHICLE BOUNCED AND LOST STEERING CONTROL WHEN DRIVING OVER BUMPS. VEHICLE HAS BEEN TO THE DEALER ON THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS. THE NEW 300'S ARE HAVING A PROBLEM WITH THE EMERGENCY BRAKE. THE PEDAL TO SET THE EMERGENCY BRAKE SITS TOO CLOSE TO THE DOOR OPENING. WHILE DRIVING OR PARKED IF YOU TOUCH, BRUSH OR NUDGE THE EMERGENCY BRAKE PEDAL AT ALL IT SETS THE SENSOR AS IF THE BRAKE HAS BEEN SET. THE MANUFACTORER HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIX THIS PROBLEM AS OF YET, THE DEALER STATED THAT THIS IS A DESIGN FLAW THAT THERE IS NO WAY TO ADJUST THE BRAKE AND THAT THE SENSOR IS VERY TOUCHY. 2006 CHRYSLER 300C WITH 5.7 LITER HEMI ENGINE, 1,500 MILES ON ODOMETER. STALLS AND WILL/OR VERY DIFFICULT TO RE-START. STALLED WHILE DRIVING WHICH NEARLY CAUSED AN ACCIDENT. CAR AT DEALER NOW IN PORT HURON, MI. TOLD BY DEALER THAT CHRYSLER DOES NOT HAVE FIX FOR "COMPUTER PROBLEM" AND THAT COMPUTER WILL BE PULLED FROM VEHICLE AND SENT TO CHRYSLER ENGINEERING FOR EVALUATION; NOT SURE WHEN CAR WILL BE FIXED. DEFINITELY A SAFETY CONCER. STALLS WITHOUT WARNING WITH TOTAL LOSS OF POWER, STEERING AND BRAKES.
