WHEN FILLING THE GAS TANK: BACK PRESSURE IS SENSED BY GAS STATION PUMP AND STOPS THE FLOW OF GAS AFTER A QUICK MOMENT. CONTINUING THESE SHORT BURSTS CAN TAKE A LONG WHILE. IF TRYING TO FUEL SLOWLY BELOW THE THRESHOLD OF THE BACK PRESSURE BEING SENSED BY THE PUMP, IT COULD RESULT IN GASOLINE FLOWING AND SQUIRTING OUT OF THE GAS TANK OPENING, ONTO: THE CAR, TIRE, BRAKES, UNDERSIDE OF CAR & THE ATTENDANT FILING THE GAS TANK.

WHILE DRIVING AT 45 MPH, THE VEHICLE BATTERY SYSTEM TURNED OFF LOSING THE ABILITY TO ACCELERATE. THE ENGINE DID NOT TURN ON WHEN THE BATTERY DRAINS TO ZERO. THE BATTERY WAS FULLY CHARGED AT ABOUT 95% WITH ABOUT 40 MILES OF RANGE REMAINING. THE GAS TANK WAS 3/4 FULL. HAD TO COME TO A COMPLETE STOP IN TRAFFIC, PLACE THE CAR INTO PARK, TURN OFF THE CAR COMPLETELY THEN BEGIN RESTARTING IT FOR ALL FUNCTIONALITY TO RETURN.
