This has happened twice with my vehicle that the emergency brakes and alert are not working. I had to slam on brakes just to stop from hitting the car in front of me. The emergency brakes did not work at all. I have it on in my car.

The contact owns a 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The contact stated that while driving 3-65 MPH there was an abnormal squealing sound detected. When the brake pedal was applied, the vehicle shuddered and skipped. There seemed to be a pulsation in the brakes. There were no warning lights illuminated. I received a email from carfax stateing the truck had diagnostic testing and is the transmission in the engine system. It’ll start up but you cannot drive it. It shows that are passed the state inspection on June 27/2025 stating that the truck passed the inspection how the truck went past inspection and it’s not driveable and I don’t have it. When shifting from park to drive after the engine start none of the gears on the shifter engage. All positions are in neutral except for park. When shifting from park to any gear the engine revs when the throttle is pressed but the vehicle will immediately roll whichever way the ground is inclined. The power brakes won't engage thus forcing the driver to put their entire weight on the brake pedal to stop the car. While in traffic, brand new 2024 Chevy Trailblazer vehicle has stalled on us a few times now and doesn't start right back up. It appears to happen when the vehicle is going from the fuel saving "start-stop mode" and we've found ourselves in a precarious situtations in traffic. I can foresee this happening at a very dangerous time causing a bad wreck.
