Owner report 10659976 · 2014-11-21 (November 21, 2014)

THE DASHBOARD DEVELOPED A CRACK APPROX 8 INCHES LONG ON THE DRIVERS SIDE BEHIND STEERING COLUMN. THIS HAPPENED WHEN THE HEAT WAS TURNED ON TO DEFROST WINDOW. THIS IS DANGEROUS BECAUSE IF THE AIRBAG SHOULD DEPLOY PIECES OF THE DASH COULD BE SENT FLYING INTO THE PASSENGER COMPARTMENT AND CAUSE INJURIES. GM DOES NOT WANT TO FIX THE PROBLEM. *TR

ELECTRICAL IS DASH IS CAUSING THE RADIO TO MESS UP. IT SWITCHES FROM RADIO TO USB TO CD TO AUX, WILL NOT STAY ON JUST ONE OF THEM MAKING LISTENING TO RADIO NOT POSSIBLE. THE AIR BAG LIGHT STAYS ON WITH A MESSAGE SAYING CHECK AIR BAG. THE TIRE MONITOR LIGHT STAYS ON AND DON'T KNOW WHY. ALSO THE ABS LIGHT COMES ON RANDOMLY, HAD THIS CHECKED OUT AND IT WOULDN'T GIVE THEM A CODE SO CHEVY COULDN'T FIX IT WHILE UNDER WARRANTY. THIS IS A LOT GOING AND WOULD LOVE FOR IT BE FIXED. I ALSO SEEN THAT STARTING IN 2011 THERE IS RECALLS ON THIS VEHICLE FOR EL…

Owner report 11726397 · 2026-03-23 (March 23, 2026)

Odometer Fraud. The contact purchased a 2010 Chevrolet Suburban. The contact stated that while driving approximately 55 MPH, the vehicle suddenly stalled. The vehicle was restarted and driven; however, approximately one minute later, the failure reoccurred. The vehicle was restarted and driven to a nearby parking lot. A certified mechanic arrived and inspected the vehicle. The mechanic diagnosed the vehicle with rod bearing failure, which caused damage to the engine. The vehicle was driven to the residence, and the contact was advised not to dr…

Owner report 11058491 · 2018-01-04 (January 4, 2018)

2010 CHEVY SUBURBAN......CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON, WENT TO THE CHEVY DEALER, IT SCANNED AS THE FUEL PUMP MODULE PART# 2087716 AND ALSO THE ABS, BRAKE LIGHT, STABILTRAK AND TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT COME ON AND THE VEHICLE LOSES POWER, THIS SCANNED AS ELECTONIC BRAKE CONTROL MODULE. I HAD THE FUEL PUMP MODULE REPLACED AT THE DEALER AND HAVE FOUND A RECALL BULLETIN FOR THE YEAR MAKE AND MODEL WITH THIS EXACT PROBLEM. HOWEVER THIS IS VIN SPECIFIC?? SO I WAS NOT ABLE TO HAVE THIS REPAIRED UNDER THE GM RECALL NO14515B .

Owner report 11569806 · 2024-02-04 (February 4, 2024)

*From day one of purchase there is a random, frequent loud buzzing/whining through the speakers(with our without the radio on). Dealership had no idea how to fix and Chevrolet said there was no known issue, so no help. *The running lights constantly short out. We continually replace them and they short out again! *We have replaced all four door handles! Cheap chrome plastic is not going to hold up. These should actually be metal to insure holding up! *The tires seem too big since they rub the fender well if you cut sharply to either side.…

Owner report 10902977 · 2016-09-01 (September 1, 2016)

THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION, I HAD JUST TURNED ONTO A CITY STREET FROM A SHOPPING CENTER AND THE TRANSMISSION WENT OUT. THEIR WAS NOT ANY WARNING THIS WAS GOING TO HAPPEN. VEHICLE WAS DRIVING FINE UP UNTIL THAT POINT. THE VEHICLE DID NOT MOVE WHEN PRESSING ON GAS. ME AND MY CHILDREN CAME VERY CLOSE TO GETTING HIT, WE WERE SITTING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET. NO WARNING SIGNS OF THIS. I HAD TO GET THE TRANSMISSION REPLACED. I DIDN'T PLAN ON SPENDING 4000 DOLLARS ON A 2010 CHEVY SUBURBAN.
