The transmission malfunctioned 4 times in the first 3 weeks of ownership. Once on the way home from the dealer, but I could not return as they were closing when I picked up my new 2026 Silverado 2500HD pick up. It has 2 issues so far since that ride home, 2 times, on separate occasions, I was approaching a red light and slowing down when the light changed while I was in a slow speed, so I accelerated to get to the speed limit, while doing so, the truck hesitated for a couple of seconds then banged into gear. I am reporting a serious and extremely concerning brake failure involving my 2026 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Diesel. Traffic ahead of me began to slow down. I saw the traffic slowing and immediately began applying the brakes to slow my vehicle. Although I was pressing the brake pedal, the truck was not slowing or stopping as it should have. When I realized the vehicle was not going to stop, I pressed the brake pedal as hard as I possibly could.
