THE DEALER REPLACED THE FRONT SEAT BELTS AT A VERY LOW MILEAGE. COST $100 DEDUCTIBLE TO THE CONSUMER. THE ALR CAUSED THE RETRACTOR TO CONSTANTLY LOCK UP. THE DEALER REPLACED THE RETRACTORS WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS BRAND NEW WITHOUT THE CONSUMER BRINGING THE VEHICLE IN FOR THIS ISSUE. CONSUMER STATES THAT IT WAS HANDLED LIKE A RECALL BUT WAS NOT AWARE THE RETRACTORS WERE RECALLED. I HAVE A ROUGH IDEAL IN ENGENE, TRANSMISSION HAS DELAY MOSTLY ON TAKE OFF 2-4 SECONDS THAN GRABS. THE TRUCK HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP 4 TIMES , BUT NOT BEEN FIXED. DEALER HAVE LEARNED LOOPS IF THEY DO NO REPAIR THAN THEY HAVE NOT FAILED AT REPAIR. THEY ARE PROTECTING THEMSELVES FROM LEMON LAWS/BUYBACK DEALER TRYED TO GET US TO SIGN A DISCLAIMER. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 CHEVROLET SIERRA. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE ENGINE STALLED AND THE BATTERY/CHARGING WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO RESTART. THE FAILURE OCCURRED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE CRANK SHAFT POSITION SENSOR NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
