MY 1995 SILVERADO WITH THE 6.5 TURBO SEEMS TO BE HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THE PMD OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE FSD. THE VEHICLE HAS STALLED GOING DOWN THE FREEWAY ONCE TODAY AND 3 OTHER TIMES, AND STALLED WHILE IN TOWN DRIVING 4 TIMES ALL IN THE LAST 2 WEEKS. STALLING ON THE FREEWAY IS NOT ACCEPTABLE AS HAS PROVEN VERY SCARY. AS THESE TRUCKS DO NOT STEER WELL WITH NO POWER. NOR DO THE BRAKES WORK WELL WHILE IN A STALL. WHEN CONSUMER WAS BACKED OUT OF THE GARAGE , THE BRAKE PEDAL WENT COMPLETELY TO THE FLOOR. AT 67,000 MILES THE WHEEL SENSOR WENT OUT ON THE RIGHT FRONT. AT 65,000MI THE LEFT FRONT BRAKE WENT OUT. 2 TIRES HAD TREAD SEPARATION FROM CASINGS AT 60 MPH . EACH OCCURRENCE WERE 2 MONTHS APART . EACH TIRE WAS MOUNTED AT A DIFFERENT LOCATION ON THE VEHICLE, 1 WAS ON THE LEFT FRONT, 1 WAS ON THE RIGHT REAR. TIRES EACH HAD APPROX. 11/32NDS OF TREAD LEFT. TIRES NEVER HAD ANY FLATS OR REPAIRS AND WERE MAINTAINED ACCORDING TO MFG. SPECS. AT TIME OF TREAD SEPERATION BOTH TIRES NEVER LOST A POUND OF AIR PRESSURE. THE FUEL PUMP HAS GONE OUT 4 TIMES IN 125,000 MILES. EVERY DEALER KNOWS WHAT THE PROBLEM IS AND SAYS THEY REPLACE THIS MORETHAN ANYTHING ELSE. OTHER PEOPLE I KNOW CARRY SPARE FUEL PUMPS.
