TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHEVROLET BLAZER. WHENEVER FUEL WAS DISPENSED IN THE FUEL TANK, THE EMPTY FUEL INDICATOR WOULD ILLUMINATE ON THE FUEL GAUGE. THE FAILURE OCCURRED WITHOUT WARNING AT ANY GIVEN FUEL LEVEL CAPACITY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR INSPECTION AND THEY STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS CONTRIBUTED TO THE FUEL SENSOR. THE VEHICLE IS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING REPAIRED. THE CONTACT WAS CONCERNED OF THE SAFETY RISK INVOLVED. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 75,000 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 78,000.
