STALLS ABOUT EVERY HALF A MILE. GOING ON ABOUT 1 1/2 WEEKS. DONE QUITE A BIT OF RESEARCH TURNING UP MANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT FUEL PUMPS AND EGR VALVES. I DON'T HAVE MONEY FOR REBUILDING MY ENGINE SO I'D LIKE TO FIND OUT IF THERE HAS BEEN CONFIRMED ANSWER AS TO WHY THESE BLAZERS ARE STALLING. *JB

EGR VALVE MAKES CAR SURGE AND DIE ALMOST EVERY YEAR AND WE HAVE TO PAY SEVERAL HUNDRED TO CHANGE IT OUT EACH TIME. ($50+ JUST TO GET THE CAR CHECKED BY THEM SO THEY CAN TELL ME ITS A CODE 32-BAD EGR THEN 2-3 HUNDRED FOR PART AND LABOR). OF COURSE I STOPPED USING THE DEALERSHIPS AND WENT TO A SMALL BUSINESS MECHANIC AND CUT $100 OFF THAT. THE OTHER PROBLEM IS THE FUEL PUMP HAS GIVEN OUT TWICE BUT MY SON HAS FIXED IT EACH TIME FOR ME.

1994 CHEVROLET S10 BLAZER. CONSUMER STATES SEVERAL PROBLEMS WITH VEHICLE *TGW THE CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE HAD BROKE DOWN A TOTAL OF 9 TIMES 5 OF WHICH THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED BACK TO THE USED CAR DEALER. THE FUEL PUMP, BATTERY, STARTER, STUDS AND LUG NUTS ALL HAD TO BE REPLACED. ALSO, THE BRACKET FOR THE ALTERNATOR, A BOLT FOR THE POWER STEERING, THE PITMAN ARM, HUB WHEEL ASSEMBLY, 4- WHEEL DRIVE ACTUATOR AND UPPER AND LOWER BALL JOINTS ALL NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. *JB

THE TRUCK HAS ABS BRAKES. WHEN APPLYING BRAKES THEY WERE NOT OPERATING AND CAUSED A FOUR CAR COLLISION. TT CONSUMER LISTS THAT THERE WERE TWO INJURIES AND FOUR FATALITIES, NOTHING ELSE IS MENTIONED ABOUT THE INJURIES/DEATHS. DEALER REPLACED KNUCKLE ASSEMBLY, DUE TO POPPING NOISES. TRANSMISSION LEAK, DEALER REPLACED PUMP COVER. POOR GAS MILEAGE AND POOR POWER, DEALER REPLACED INJECTOR ASSEMBLY. *SLC
