WAS PULLING A TRAILER THROUGH TOWN LUCKILY WHEN MY BRAKE PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR. THE TRAILER BRAKES KEPT ME FROM HITTING THE PERSON IN FRONT OF ME. AFTER GETTING STOPPED I FOUND THE BRAKE LINES ON TOP OF THE FRAME HAD RUPTURED DUE TO CORROSION. I WENT AND BOUGHT NEW BRAKE LINE MATERIAL AND I AM REPLACING TWO OF THE FOUR LINES. NOT A WEEK AGO I NOTICED THE MY REAR SPRING SHACKLES NEED TO BE REPLACED DUE TO CORROSION. I HAVE FOUND THAT THERE IS ALOT OF THESE SAME ISSUES THROUGH THE INTERNET. MY TRUCK IS A 2001 CHEVY 2500HD. *TR

I HAVE FOUND A SAFETY RECALL ON A 2001 CHEVY SILVERADO 8.1L CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR, I HAVE CALLED THE DEALER AND THE CHEVY HOT LINE AND BOTH OF THEM SAID THAT THE RECALL DID NOT PERTAIN TO MY TRUCK, BUT MY TRUCK IS HAVING THE SAME TROUBLES AS THE OTHER 8.1L IS HAVING, MY TRUCK IS STALLING WHEN IM DRIVING AND WHEN IM AT A STOP, THEIR IS NO CODE OR DASH TROUBLE LIGHT COMES ON, MY LIGHTS ALSO DIMS QUITE OFTEN NOT ALWAYS DOES IT STALL WHEN THE LIGHTS FLICKER, I HAVE BEEN HAVING TROUBLE FOR THE PAST 6 YR AND NO ONE CAN FIND THE PROBLEM, THEN I L…
