ON MY 2004 BMW MOTORCYCLE K1200 RS MODEL, THE QUICK RELEASE PLASTIC FUEL CONNECTORS ( MALE END) FRACTURES AND RESULT IN FUEL (GASOLINE) LEAKS. I DID NOT RIDE MY MOTORCYCLE FOR THE PAST TWO MONTHS, AND JUST RECENTLY, IN THE GARAGE OF MY HOME, I SAW A POOL OF GASOLINE DRIPPING UNDER MY MOTORCYCLE. THIS FUEL LEAK IN A CLOSED GARAGE COULD OF RESULTED IN A HOUSE FIRE, OR IF RIDING THE MOTORCYCLE, COULD RESULT IN A FIRE WHILE RIDING. I CALLED THE BMW DEALERSHIP, WHO WERE VERY AWARE OF THE PROBLEM, AND INFORMED ME THAT A METAL COUPLER MADE BY BMW I…
