TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 BMW C650 GT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE FAILURE CONTINUED TO OCCUR THREE TIMES OVER A PERIOD OF SEVEN MONTHS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR A DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE CONTACT LATER RECEIVED A RECALL NOTIFICATION RELATED TO NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 14V264000(ENGINE). HOWEVER THE MANUFACTURER AND DEALER WERE NOT ACKNOWLEDGING THE RECALL AND INDICATED PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 500.

SCOOTER STALLS WHEN COMING TO A STOP, OR TURNING AT A SLOW SPEED. IT APPEARS TO HAPPEN AFTER THE SCOOTER HAS WARMED UP. STALLS AT INTERSECTIONS CAUSING NEAR MISSES FROM CARS BEHIND THINKING I'M PULLING AWAY FROM INTERSECTION WHEN BIKE STALLS.
