WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD, A LOUD METAL TO ROAD NOISE STARTED TO EMANATE FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY VEHICLE. AFTER PULLING OVER AND EXAMINING THE UNDERSIDE OF MY VEHICLE, I COULD SEE THE FUEL TANK STRAP ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE VEHICLE DRAGGING AGAINST THE GROUND AND THE FUEL TANK HANGING DOWN FROM ITS NORMAL POSITION. THE STRAP HAD SEPARATED FROM ITS FRONT RETENTION POINT. A THOROUGH INSPECTION REVEALED THAT THE FRONT MOUNTING BRACKET FOR THE FUEL TANK STRAP WAS NO LONGER ON THE VEHICLE.
