Blue Bird Bus Company (Blue Bird) is recalling certain 2022-2024 All American transit buses. A loose 12-volt cable may disconnect, causing a loss of electrical systems.
Consequence: A loss of brake assist, drive power, steering assist, or instrument panel displays can increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect, add a torque stripe, and properly tighten the 12-volt cable as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 17, 2026. Owners may contact Blue Bird customer service at 1-478-822-2242.

Blue Bird Bus Company (Blue Bird) is recalling certain 2026 Vision and All American transit buses equipped with QRT-Deluxe and QRT-Max wheelchair restraints. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.
Consequence: An unsecured wheelchair can move during transit, increasing the risk of injury.
Remedy: Blue Bird will work with Q'Straint to inspect and replace the retractors as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 29. 2026. Owners may contact Blue Bird customer service at 1-478-822-2242.
