TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 BIGFOOT E-450 FORD CHASSEY AND MOTOR. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 75 MPH UP A STEEP HILL WITH THE CRUISE CONTROL ENGAGED, THE VEHICLE THEN DOWNSHIFTED. THE FAILURE CAUSED THE THROTTLE TO BECOME STUCK AND ACCELERATED TO HIGHER SPEEDS IN AND OUT OF TRAFFIC. THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS ENGAGED IN ORDER TO DISENGAGE THE CRUISE CONTROL, BUT IT FAILED TO WORK. HE TURNED THE VEHICLE OFF AND COASTED TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A DEALER WHO ADVISED HIM THAT THEY WOULD UNLOCK THE CRUISE CONTROL. THE VEHICLE …
