TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 BIGDOG K9. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE RIDING AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED, THERE WAS A SUDDEN LOSS OF POWER AND THE MOTORCYCLE RANDOMLY STALLED. A DEALER DIAGNOSED THAT THE ALTERNATOR AND MOTOR FRACTURED PREMATURELY WHILE THE MOTORCYCLE WAS IN OPERATION. THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO REACH THE MANUFACTURER ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS TO INVESTIGATE THE FAILURE AND TO DETERMINE IF THE MANUFACTURER WOULD SUPPLY A SOLUTION TO THE DEALER. THE FAILURE WAS PROGRESSING. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.

2007 BIG DOG K-9 MOTORCYCLE, LOSS OF ELECTRICAL, HEAD AND TAIL LIGHTS, SPEEDOMETER,HORN HIGH BEAM INDICATOR LIGHT, ENGINE SHUT DOWN AND ALL LIGHTS WENT OUT WHILE RIDING AT NIGHT. *BF THE CONSUMER WAS INFORMED THE ELECTRIC CONTROLLER SHORTED OUT. *JB
