DT*: THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 60 MPH UNDER NORMAL ROAD CONDITIONS, THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE SHOCK ABSORBER FRACTURED. THERE WAS A NOISE FROM THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE MOTOR HOME PRIOR TO THE INCIDENT. THE MAKE OF THE MOTORHOME IS BEAVER PATRIOT MOTORHOMES AND THE MODEL WAS SAVANNAH.*AK THE CONSUMER REPLACED THE SHOCKS THE FIRST TIME HIMSELF. THE CONSUMER STATED THE NOISE RETURNED AND HE DISCOVERED THE SHOCK HAD BROKEN AGAIN AND PULLED AWAY FROM THE FRAME AND FELL TO THE HYDRAULIC HOSE THAT GOES TO THE BRAKES. THE SECOND TIME THE SHOCKS …

I PURCHASED OUR 1997 BEAVER PATRIOT MOTORHOME USED IN OCTOBER 3, 2006. ON OUR MAIDEN TRIP THE PASSENGER FRONT WINDSHIELD BROKE DUE TO A BAD FRONT SHOCK ALLOWING THE FRONT OF THE UNIT TO BOTTOM OUT. TWO MONTHS LATER WE WERE TRAVELING IN ARIZONA ON I-10 AND HEARD A THUMPING NOISE. IT WAS THE PASSENGERS FRONT SHOCK MOUNT - IT HAD TORN FROM THE FRAME A WAS HITTING THE FRAME. AFTER CALL THE MANUFACTURER I WAS TOLD NOTHING THEY COULD DO, TAKE IT TO A FRAME SHOP AND HAVE IT RE-WELDED ON AND REPLACE THE SHOCK. THREE MONTHS LATER TRAVELING OVER LOVEL…

WHEN THE BRAKES ARE APPLIED THERE IS A BURNING SMELL, AND THE BRAKE PEDAL SOMETIMES FEELS SPONGY. *AK BRAKE WORK WAS DONE WITHOUT THE CONSUMER'S KNOWLEDGE.
