THE INVOLVED VEHICLES DO NOT CONFORM TO FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 123, "MOTORCYCLE CONTROLS AND DISPLAYS". THESE VEHICLES WERE DELIVERED WITH FUEL SHUT-OFF VALVES WHICH DO NOT HAVE THE VALVE POSITIONS ("ON", "OFF" AND "REVERSE") PROPERLY LABELED. ALSO, CERTAIN VEHICLES MAY HAVE INCORRECTLY POSITIONED FUEL VALVES.
Remedy: THE DEALER WILL REPOSITION THE FUEL CONTROL VALVE AND INSTALL LABELS TO MEET THE SAFETY STANDARD REQUIREMENTS.
