Owner report 11554255 · 2023-11-08 (November 8, 2023)
My wife was involved in an accident with her Audi Q4 E-Tron on Monday, August 7, 2023 at approximately noon. She was driving into Boulder to pick up our granddaughter from an art camp in Table Mesa. On her way to Boulder, she noticed that the lane departure warning indicator light was not working which was odd because she had been using that since she purchased the car. She was also in Drive B (regenerative braking) mode. She drove into the parking area and was pulling into a parking spot very slowly. When she moved her foot off of the acceler…

Owner report 11542360 · 2023-09-03 (September 3, 2023)
As I was starting to make a right hand turn into a parking space in a parking garage, the car suddenly accelerated. I slammed on the brakes, but the stopping distance was not long enough. The car crashed into the steel cabling and concrete pole. The airbags deployed and the damage was significant enough to total the car. I sustained bruising and back muscle pain from the force of the impact. I only had the car for 11 days when this happened. I requested black box data for the car from the collision center and insurance company - neither would p…

Owner report 11570906 · 2024-02-08 (February 8, 2024)
Component/System failed: Brake Servo part number 1eb-614-106-t Safety put at risk: Car was unable to move and completely locked up while in "Drive". If this had happened at a stop light or in traffic, it would have dangerously obstructed traffic, as the car could not be put into neutral or any other gear and could not move. Tow truck with dollies was required to move vehicle. A flatbed could not be used since the wheels were all locked up. The vehicle has been inspected by the dealer's service department at the Audi dealer. This is a vid…

Owner report 11584726 · 2024-04-23 (April 23, 2024)
While driving, the car lost power, stalled, and rolled backwards down an incline. Fortunately, the brakes worked allowing me to bring the car to a safe stop. The dealer has been trying to repair the car for 40 days (the repair is not complete). The repair included replacing the front motor. When I went online to the Audi forums, it appears many drivers have experienced the same problem. Some type of refrigerant leak causes a failure of the front electric motor which causes the car to lose drive power (stall). I can't tell from the onli…
