Reported: 2025-08-21 (August 21, 2025) · Model years: 2023, 2024, 2025

Aluminum Trailer Company (ATC) is recalling certain 2023 PL500, 2023-2024 PL700, 2023-2025 RM500, RM900, ST450, 2024-2025 PL550, PL750, 2024 PR300, 2025 RM450, RM550, and RM800. A software error may cause the radio and speakers to overheat.

Consequence: Overheated radio and speakers increase the risk of a fire.

Remedy: ATC will work with Maxxsonics to mail instructions and a USB with a software update. All speakers will be inspected and replaced as necessary. Repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 24, 2025. Owners may call ATC customer service at 1-877-441-2440 ext. 342.

Reported: 2026-07-22 (July 22, 2026) · Model years: 2026

Aluminum Trailer Company (ATC) is recalling certain 2026 RM500 and RM700 trailers. The wireless handheld remote control may be incompatible with some legacy winches, resulting in unexpected winch movements.

Consequence: A winch that operates unintentionally may increase the risk of injury.

Remedy: ATC will replace the wireless remote or provide a refund, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 7, 2026. Owners may call ATC customer service at 1-877-441-2440.
