THE CONSEQUENCES INDICATED IN THE BRAKE VALVE RECALL 04V045000 OCCURRED WHILE DRIVING. DEALERSHIP INSPECTED THE VEHICLE AND INDICATED THEY COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG AND THE VIN NUMBER WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. *AK THE CONSUMERS HUSBAND EXPERIENCED BRAKE AND STEERING FAILURE. HE WAS UNABLE TO STEER THE TRUCK AND FOUND IT NECESSARY TO USE THE EMERGENCY BRAKE TO STOP THE VEHICLE AS THE BRAKES WOULD NOT WORK. THE VEHICLE CONTINUED TO RUN WHILE THE BRAKE AND STEERING FAILURE OCCURRED. *SC *JB

I WAS DRIVING ON A RESIDENTIAL STREET IN WASHINGTON, D.C. IN MY 2003 HUMMER H2 WHEN I NOTICED AFTER A BRIEFLY TRYING TO BRAKE FOR A PEDESTRIAN THAT MY BRAKE PEDAL WAS NOT AS TIGHT AS USUAL. I CONTINUED TO DRIVE BELIEVING SINCE NO WARNING LIGHTS THEN THERE'S NO ISSUE. I CAME TO ANOTHER STOP AND REALIZED THEIR IS SOMETHING WRONG MY BRAKE PEDAL WAS VERY LOOSE AND ALMOST TO THE FLOOR WITH MINIMAL STOPPING ABILITY LUCKY I WAS NOW AT MY HOME I COASTED TO MY HOME BY NOW THE BRAKES HAVE BLOWN COMPLETELY I HAD TO USE THE EMERGENCY BRAKE TO STOP THE TRU…
