CAR HAULER TRAILER ISSUE #1 THE SCREWS THAT RETAIN GUIDE BUSHINGS ON THE LIFT SYSTEM FALL OUT OR BREAK OFF WHICH ALLOW THE BUSHINGS TO FALL OFF. THIS ALLOWS THE LIFT WITH THE CAR LOADED AND RAISED TO MOVE DURING ACCELERATION, BRAKING AND TURNING. ISSUE #2 THE 1/4" SCREWS THAT HOLD THE UPRIGHT WHICH GUIDES THE LIFT AS IT MOVES UP OR DOWN STRIP OUT OR COME LOOSE AND FALL DUE TO THE FORCE OF MOVEMENT. THERE ARE ONLY 5 OF THESE SMALL SCREWS ON EACH OF THE 2 UPRIGHTS ON THE DRIVER SIDE. THIS ALLOWS FOR EVEN MORE MOVEMENT WHICH MAY CAUSE THE LIFT…

THE VEHICLE WAS ON THE CITY STREET APPROACHING OUR PROPERTY WHEN THE TONGUE OF THE TRAILER BROKE COMPLETELY OFF OF THE TRAILER AT A LARGE HOLE DRILLED INTO THE BOTTOM OF THE TONGUE FRAME FOR THE WIRING TO ENTER THE FRAME WHERE THE TONGUE FRAME MEETS THE CARGO BOX. THE TRAILER WAS DAMAGED AS IT CRASHED INTO THE BACK OF THE DUMP TRUCK AND THEN CAME TO REST ON THE GROUND.
