Reported: 2024-06-27 (June 27, 2024) · Model years: 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024

Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2021-2024 JEMS S and JEMS SE vehicles. Inadequate clearance between the A/C hoses and the engine exhaust manifold may result in the hoses overheating.

Consequence: A/C hoses that overheat can increase the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Altec will install a remedy kit to secure the hose routing farther away from the exhaust manifold, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 23, 2024. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3166.
