Altec Industries (Altec) is recalling certain 2024-2026 AC Series Crane vehicles. The inside joints between the side plates and the base plates of the 26-foot insulating personnel jib (IJ26) may be missing welds.
Consequence: Missing welds can lead to platform joint failure due to fatigue or overload, resulting in the platform falling from the boom tip, increasing the risk of injury.
Remedy: Altec will advise owners to inspect the IJ26 jib for missing welds. If the welds are missing, the jib should be taken out of service immediately. Altec will add the missing welds or provide a repair procedure and kit, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 23, 2026. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is MAB-3330.

Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2025 AC Series Crane and DT Series Digger Derrick vehicles. The harness intended to prevent Altec installed lighting from overloading the chassis lighting circuit was not installed, which may result in a loss of power to the body lighting or trailer lights.
Consequence: Loss of body lighting or trailer lights increases the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Altec will notify owners to inspect their vehicle for the harness. If the harness is missing, a repair kit will be provided, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 15, 2026. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3295.
