The contact owns a 2021 Alliance Paradigm Trailer. The contact stated upon testing the brake actuator, the system failed to respond. The warning message "Trailer Disconnected" appeared on the instrument panel. The parts manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that it was a manufacturer’s defect and the solenoid inside the brake actuator was overheating when receiving electrical signals from the brake away switch.
