The brakes on my Airstream travel trailer have malfunctioned. The brakes started to “grab”, and the only way I could stop the grabbing was to reduce the gain on the brake controller from 5 – 5 ½ to 3 – 3 ½. At one time in a parking lot the trailer brakes brought my entire rig to a halt after I had gently applied the brakes and then released them. I am concerned that this issue is a safety hazard.
