ANTI-LOCK BRAKE PRESSURE FAILURE. ALL PRESSURE IN BRAKING SYSTEM FAILED DURING NORMAL DRIVING CONDITIONS. HAD TO PUMP BRAKES SEVERAL TIMES AND APPLY EMERGENCY BRAKE TO SLOW VEHICLE TO STOP. I CHECKED MSN WEBSITE FOR USED CAR RESEARCH INFO AND IT STATED THAT FAILURE TO ANTI-LOCK BRAKE PRESSURE SWITCH ON 1991 ACURA LEGEND IS A COMMON PROBLEM ON THIS VEHICLE. I BELIEVE THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS PROBLEM. IF SOMEONE IS TOO CLOSE TO ANOTHER VEHICLE THEN ATTEMPTS TO STOP AND HAS NO PRESSURE IN THERE BRAKING SYSTEM SERIOUS INJURY COULD OCCUR. I AL…

WHILE APPLYING THE BRAKES PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR BRAKES FAILED. HOWEVER, CONSUMER WAS ABLE TO MAINTAIN CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE, AND DROVE IT TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION. MECHANIC DETERMINED THAT THE MASTER CYLINDER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED DUE TO A SENSOR. CONSUMER INFORMED THE MECHANIC THIS WAS THE THIRD MASTER CYLINDER REPLACED WITHIN SIX MONTHS. BUT THE PROBLEM STILL OCCURRED, AND HAD NOT BEEN RESOLVED. *AK

PRIOR TO RECALL NOTIFICATION (01-015) CONSUMER REPLACED ENTIRE AMPLIFIER, BECAUSE AS HE WAS DRIVING THE RADIO BEGAN TO MAKE HEAR PIERCING NOISE INCLUDING LOUD POPPING AND CLICKING THROUGH THE SPEAKERS, CONSUMER ALSO NOTICED SMOKE IN THE CABIN OF THE CAR WHICH SMELLED LIKE ELECTRICAL SMOKE THE SMOKE AND THE SMELL WERE MORE NOTICEABLE IN THE TRUNK OF THE CAR, SUBSEQUENT TO THIS THE RADIO WOULD NOT WORK WITHOUT THE NOISE, CONSUMER IS NOW REQUESTING REIMBURSEMNT FOR RECALL AMPLIFIER. *JB
