Owner report 11131565 · 2018-09-25 (September 25, 2018)
WHEN COMING TO A STOP AT A RED LIGHT, THE CAR CONTINUED TO ROLL FORWARD. AT THIS TIME, I STEPPED ON THE BRAKE WITH ADDED PRESSURE BUT THE CAR CONTINUED TO ROLL. THEN I SHIFTED THE CAR INTO PARK BUT THAT DID NOT STOP THE VEHICLE AND IT ROLLED INTO A TRUCK IN FRONT AT LESS THAN 5 MPH. THE DEALERSHIP STATES THEY CANNOT DUPLICATE THE INCIDENT AND FOUND NO ERRORS WHILE CONDUCTING THEIR INSPECTIONS.

Owner report 11710536 · 2026-01-12 (January 12, 2026)
I received notice of this brake master cylinder recall on 12/20/25 and tried to schedule it at my local dealership (1/5/26) Edmonds, WA. They told me they could not perform the recall because they did not have the parts. I was in the dealership on 1/10/26 and they told me they would check into it. Today I received a VM saying they would not perform the recall because the brake booster has not yet failed. This seems like a safety issue - am I supposed to have an accident in order to get this resolved?

Owner report 10936392 · 2016-12-20 (December 20, 2016)
CAR JERKS, SLIPS AND HESITATES WHEN SHIFTING FROM REVERSE TO DRIVE AND WHEN DRIVING AT LOW SPEEDS. ALREADY TAKEN TO DEALER TO LOOK AT, WAS TOLD IT'S BECAUSE CAR WAS IN "BREAK-IN" PERIOD, HOWEVER NOW THAT IT HAS 1K MILES, ISSUES ARE STILL OCCURRING. I'VE SEEN REPORTS OF THE TLX WITH SIMILAR ISSUES AND SAME 8 SPEED TRANSMISSION WHERE ACURA HAD A SOFTWARE UPDATE FOR A FIX. WHEN I MENTIONED THIS TO THE DEALER, THEY ACTED AS IF THEY NEVER HEARD OF THIS ISSUE. *TR

Owner report 11590004 · 2024-05-21 (May 21, 2024)
I have taken my vehicle into the repair shop several times to conclude that it might be my transmission. After finally taking into the right mechanic, I have found out that it is a fuel pump system issue. I know these are recalled for 2018 but this is something that they also stated 2017 Acura ILX have had issues with as well I’m having to come out of pocket $1300 to get this repair, it has stalled my vehicle. I’m not able to fully press the gas when pulling out in fear that I will not be able to complete the transfer that you guys may want to …

Owner report 11691139 · 2025-10-03 (October 3, 2025)
Hello, I recently bought this used car. Its a 2017 Acura ILX with fairly low miles ( 85k ). After the 2nd night of having it, the alarm started going off in the middle of the night and all the lights were flickering in the dashboard. The car wouldn't start so I had to jump it in the morning. It did jump and I drove it to the local store for a battery test. The battery was fine. I thought the issue was resolved until it happened again and again. I began to notice a pattern that it was happening when the car wasn't driven for a few days at a ti…
